Backcountry Brewing was formed by a team of owner operators each with a unique skill including head brewer John Folinsbee, GM Marc Roberts, Marketing Manager Ben Reeder and builder Adam Steinberg. This collaborative team spirit continues to guide and shape our company and products. With a focus on brewing hoppy ales using new hop varietals, our brewers are constantly experimenting with innovative ingredients and techniques. The brewery is situated in Squamish BC and is complete with a 50 seat tasting room and kitchen run by red seal chef Mike Staveley.
