VCBW Kickoff: East Van Crusher
Vancouver Craft Beer Week is back for its ninth annual celebration of craft beer starting May 25, and we’re recalling our East Van roots for this year’s opening night party. Kicking the week off at the Maritime Labour Centre located in the heart of one of Vancouver’s biggest brewery districts, cans from more than twenty breweries will be cracked and crushed to the spectacle of one of our most revered events: Feats of Strength. Vancouver’s brewers have long been known for their ridiculous strength, and for their strength in the ridiculous. Watch brewers, cellarmen/women, barkeeps and plain-ol strong-folk compete in events like push-up competitions, The Growler tearing, keg stacking and so much more in this presentation of Copper & Theory’s Feats of Strength.Visit Site »
