  • Christmas Craft Beer Show Dec 1 & 2

December 1st, 2017|Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre 1925 Blanshard St, Victoria,

Join us for our 2nd Christmas Craft Beer Show at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

Most beer festivals are held throughout the summer months to take advantage of the beautiful relationship between warm weather and cold glass of suds.

There are few things that go together so well, but having to wait through fall, winter and spring to get together again and see what is occurring in the industry by celebrating the delectable flavours seems very short sighted.

To bridge the gap, we have decided to have everyone raise a mug of holiday cheer and join us for the Christmas Craft Beer Show at the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre.

In our estimation, this is a great concept that will allow the multitude of fantastic local micro-breweries to gather together to display their seasonal products as well as their brewery favorites to both beer lovers and food and beverage professionals ahead of the holiday season.

This is an out of the box event for the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre, but one we believe is needed in Victoria and will allow for all involved to garner exposure ahead of the most significant holiday season of the year and a chance for us all to enjoy a happy and prosperous New Year!

Single day tickets: $40 Weekend tickets: $70 Tokens: $1.50 each and will be valid for both days.

Tickets include a souvenir sample cup and lanyard, program, and a couple tokens to get you started.

  • Kiwanis Ale Fest Jan 26 & 27

January 26th, 2018|Two Rivers Gallery 725 Canada Games Way Prince George,

Proudly held at the end of January to embrace winter, Kiwanis AleFest joins the community’s social calendar to offer attendees the unique opportunity to taste and discover a variety of high quality, local, handcrafted beers. The region is a fantastic beer market, with a mix of urban sophistication, rugged determination, spectacular wilderness and a thirst for products that support quality of life. Prince George is the hub of the north, offering all the amenities and benefits of a thriving city as the province’s northern capital.

With similarities to a wine tasting festival, Kiwanis AleFest is the Great Northern BC Beer Festival. It features three separate tastings sessions, tapas food from our community’s finest restaurants, a souvenir tasting glass, and live music and an art exhibit. The event is modeled after similar craft beer tasting events throughout BC, and by peer Kiwanis clubs in United States.

  • Hopwired 2018

February 24th, 2018|Croatian Cultural Centre 3250 Commerical Drive, Vancouver,

Featuring local, national, and international craft beer and third-wave coffee. Hopwired encourages partnership between craft beer and coffee roasters to make beverages that are fruity, flowery, tangy, spicey, nutty, chocolately, sweet, sour, soft, mild, and strong.

We have selected some of our favourite known and relatively unknown breweries and roasters to team up with each other and bring you some of their best offerings. Patrons at the event will be able to taste the beer, and also the coffee that’s been used in that beer alongside their partner brewery. Hopwired is focused on coffee.
