The BC Craft Brewers Guild is pleased to announce the second annual BC Craft Brewers Conference, in Vancouver, BC on October 19th, 2018. Featuring a full day of seminars, a trade show, and networking opportunities with key suppliers and those in the brewing community. Registration opens at 8am and a Continental Breakfast will be available for attendees. Seminars run from 9am to 6pm, with lunch, networking and refreshment breaks.

Welcome to the second annual Vancouver’s North Shore Craft Beer Week! This October 19-26, we toast the North Shore’s legendary past in brewing and our bright future with a week of celebrations at our local breweries.
The North Shore has a rich history of craft brewing having been home to Canada’s first ever microbrewery – Horseshoe Bay Brewery in 1982. Now, we play host to six craft (soon to be nine!) breweries leading the way in tasty beers.
Try special casks, attend fun events, and learn more about North Shore beers while collecting stamps on our North Shore Ale Trail Passport on the Xplorer app to win our grand prize!
Kick off the celebrations at our launch party at the Pipe Shop on October 19th. KPU Brewing Diploma Information Session - Oct 23
Ever wondered about a career in the craft beer industry? Interested in becoming a brewer?
The explosive growth of craft breweries around the world is creating a demand for educated, trained brewers. Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is the only institution in BC to offer a university diploma in brewing with our own on-site brewery where students gain practical, hands-on experience. Students also learn the art, science and business of brewing in this comprehensive, two-year program.
Join us on Oct. 23 at KPU’s state-of-the-art teaching brewery to learn about our Brewing & Brewery Operations Diploma program. You’ll meet KPU Brewing instructors, our admissions coordinator and current students to find out what’s covered in the program, admission requirements, how to succeed in the program, and the different careers available in the industry.
Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) is the first Canadian institution to be recognized by the Master Brewers Association for a standard of excellence in brewing education. We’re also very proud that our students won bronze at the 2017 BC Beer Awards, and they’ve won gold, silver and bronze medals in the 2018 and 2017 US Open College Beer Championship.

Harrison Beer Festival - October 26 & 27th
The Harrison Beer Festival has been created to showase BC Craft Breweries and celebrate craft beer month in BC. The Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz region has a rich history in the beer industry. For 60 years hops, a basic ingrediant in beer, were the main industry in the Agassiz Area of British Columbia. At the height of the business, 300 acres were planted with hops.
This annual event takes place in October. In addition to bringing great tasting beer to the shores of Harrison Lake, the Harrison Beer Festival brings great food and entertainment as well.Visit Site »
