The Great Okanagan Beer Festival, presented by Train Station Pub, is a 3-day event, offering festival and craft beer lovers a mix of amazing programming at local bars and pubs.
Saturday will showcase the cannot miss Main Event at Waterfront Park, where over 60 craft breweries will come together to pour over 120 beers and ciders for 3,000+ festival-goers. Nestled on the beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake and right in the heart of downtown Kelowna, breweries, food trucks, bands and festival-goers join in our celebration of the love of beer. We’ll cheers to the best craft beers and ciders that BC has to offer, showcasing breweries from across BC, with a few of our favourite out of province brews joining the fun.

VANCOUVER CRAFT BEER WEEK IS TEN! Come celebrate 10 years of beer at the 2019 VCBW Festival, June 8 & 9, 2019.
Vancouver Craft Beer Week started in 2010 at a small venue hosting about 100 beer aficionados and 15 breweries. Over the past 10 years, it has evolved from Canada’s first-ever craft beer week into a cultural engine that showcases music, food, art, and craft beer at events across the city, from the last Friday of May to early June every year.

Penticton Beer Run
Best Fun-draiser ever #willrunforbeer
This is a beautiful, gentle 10 km course showing off some of the best vistas in the South Okanagan. The flat or gentle downhill route is easily managed by running or walking.
The start line is right inside a genuine Hops Farm, from there scenery just gets better as you come along the Kettle Valley Railway and clay banks above the lake and into Penticton’s downtown. After a few brewery samples and a couple food/water pit stops you’ll travel along the waterfront, past the historic paddle wheeler and down the channel waterway. A couple of blocks off the channel runners will visit another brewery and then head to the finish line to celebrate!
Brewery and Eatery Overview
The Beer Run will include tastings from the Cannery Brewery, Bad Tattoo, Tin Whistle, Barley Mill, Highway 97 and Firehall Breweries, Smugglers Smokehouse, Patio Burger and Papa John’s Eateries! Firehall Brewery will be set up at the start line for your first taste of the local Micro-brew scene, you will run down the KVR and past Papa John’s tent to Cannery Brewery, then past Hoodoo Adventure Company just across the Street where you will find Barley Mill Brewery. From there you will head to Bad Tattoo and then down the lakeshore past Smugglers to Tin Whistle at Patio Burger and along the Channel Parkway to Highway 97 Brewery before finishing with live music, more beer and great eats. What a way to spend the day! Please note: the course may change in 2019 due to new breweries opening in Penticton!
Start and Finish:
Shuttle buses will pick up at 9:00 am. Location will be posted with updated course map upon new Penticton brewery confirmations!

All net proceeds will be donated to Youth Outdoor Recreation Society ( YORS ) helping deliver affordable and subsidized outdoor education and leadership courses to Okanagans youth.
