Farm Country Brewing is in immediate need of an experienced brewer to take on a variety of brewing, cellaring, and packaging roles. The successful candidate will join a small back of house team in order to produce a wide variety of tasty beer.
The salary range is competitive for full-time employment and will be based on experience of the candidate. Some evenings and weekends will be required from time to time.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Brewing beer on our 20hL, 2-vessel Ripley Stainless system, completing quality control assessments and record-keeping, dry-hopping/fining/fruiting, and yeast management;
Operating our 2 head Wild Goose Evolution canning line;
All cellaring duties including transferring to brite tanks, carbonation, and kegging;
Keg washing;
CIP of all FV’s/BT’s/brewhouse;
General warehousing and maintenance;
Maintaining and cleaning draft lines and taps ;
Actively contribute to maintaining a safe manufacturing environment;
Work respectfully and collaboratively within a small team

Experience and Skills:
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot effectively;
Extremely detail-oriented and process-focused;
Self-motivated and task-orientated;
Excellent work ethic with an ability to multitask and manage time effectively;
Quality control experience is an asset;
Strong logistics, record-keeping, and computer proficiency skills;
Demonstrable passion for craft beer and continuous education of beer culture;
Team player and able to work independently with minimal supervision;
Ability to work varied shifts, including some nights, early mornings, and weekends;
Physically fit for bending, long hours on your feet, and lifting (25kg) and moving heavy objects (50kg-100kg);
Driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract;
Minimum 1 year experience in a production craft brewery is considered an asset;
Forklift experience is an asset;
Able to obtain a Serving It Right certification
