Are you a sales professional who loves the craft beer industry? Interested in a generous commission structure that rewards your efforts to grow our market share? Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Rep is responsible for selling our craft beer in liquor stores and bars throughout the Cariboo/North and beyond. Duties include:

  • sales : conduct weekly onsite sales calls and deliveries to accounts in Quesnel, Prince George, and Williams Lake; convincingly tell the story of our brands to potential customers; close sales to private liquor retailers, and licensed establishments; provide excellent customer service and strengthen partnerships with our customers and clients; meet sales targets.
  • order desk : collect orders via phone, email, text, or in person; input orders and payments; arrange for delivery; prepare pallets for shipment to our offsite warehouses; update inventory software accordingly.
  • promotion : develop enduring relationships and nurture our customers through elicitation of their promotional needs and gifts of promotional items; arrange, schedule, and conduct onsite tastings; attend and work our booth at beer festivals; identify and recommend local sponsorship opportunities that align with our brand and our values; represent the brewery at sponsored events.
  • market : increase brand awareness and loyalty through traditional and social media marketing; run regular email campaigns through Mailchimp; conduct competitive analysis regarding pricing and packaging and make recommendations during weekly meetings with other brewery personnel.
  • tours : conduct occasional brewery tours; engage with local licensees to educate through free tours.


  • excellent communicator in person, through email, and on the telephone
  • a positive, professional, and courteous manner with an outstanding track record of sales
  • working knowledge of Excel
  • Class 5 driving license
  • Serving It Right
  • regular travel throughout the Cariboo, and occasional beer festivals throughout the Province
  • the physical ability to lift cases of beer and move kegs

You must be:

  • entrepreneurial and self-motivated
  • able to multi-task, with a high degree of attention to detail
  • passionate about the challenges facing the craft beer industry
  • extroverted, with a high emotional intelligence
  • encyclopedic in your knowledge of the different types and brands of beer and willing to become a Cicerone Certified Beer Server

Contract length: 12 months
